Svetlogorsk is a city that attracts not only residents of the Kaliningrad region, but also tourists from "big" Russia. Its cozy streets, ancient buildings and spacious promenade have long been the hallmark of the region. In recent years, the resort has become a real cultural and business center: concerts and festivals, international forums and workshops, conferences and exhibitions are held here.

Historical place

During the Second World War, the city was almost not damaged. So modern Svetlogorsk has absorbed all the best from its predecessor — and over the years has only multiplied its advantages. Here you will find quiet streets and parks with cozy benches. Here you can get lost among the half-timbered houses and listen to the organ in the former Catholic church. It is here that you can fully inhale the scent of pine trees — and be surprised at the purity and freshness of the air.

Cultural and business center

Unlike most resorts, life in Svetlogorsk does not freeze with the onset of autumn. In 2015, a multifunctional concert complex "Yantar-Hall" was opened in the city. Since then, the variety theater has attracted domestic and foreign artists. Modern equipment and a spacious hall allow you to hold events of the highest level: from the Cannes Lions show to the opening of the Baltic Debuts. It was here that the "Vocal Kivin" moved from Jurmala — one of the brightest events during the entire KVN season.

The perfect place to relax

Many centuries ago, the first settlement appeared around the Pacific Lake, from which a cozy city grew over time. It seems that this place still keeps echoes of Prussian times. So do not be surprised if you meet linden trees more than 400 years old next to the picturesque water surface. A strong historical connection does not prevent this territory from being modern and multifunctional: wide pedestrian and bike paths make this area ideal for morning jogging or for evening bike rides. In addition, various simulators are installed near the lake — you can play sports with the whole family.
